Wider Research Space

The current topic sits across four adjacent evidence spaces:

  1. NHS App product evolution: roadmap, feature pages, NHS account, NHS login, linked profiles, messaging, referrals, prescriptions, and GP record access.
  2. NHS national architecture: Personal Demographics Service (PDS), Organisation Data Service (ODS), Spine, Spine Directory Service (SDS), Spine Secure Proxy (SSP), NHS API Platform, GP Connect, Interface Mechanism 1 (IM1), Message Exchange for Social Care and Health (MESH), partner onboarding, Electronic Prescription Service (EPS), Patient Care Aggregator / Wayfinder, Patient Engagement Portals (PEPs), NHS Notify, and e-RS-linked flows.
  3. MOD healthcare operating model: Defence Medical Command (DMedC), Defence Primary Healthcare (DPHC), DPHC Firmbase, DPHC Overseas [DPHC(O)], Defence Global Practice, dependants, children, veterans, and armed-forces covenant commitments.
  4. MOD digital transformation: Programme Cortisone, TPP deployment, NHS integration, supplier assurance, partner onboarding, clinical safety, data protection, and continuity of patient-facing access.

The highest-risk research boundary is the transition between public NHS App eligibility wording and DPHC registration reality. Do not infer feature availability without direct evidence.
